How to Love a Forest: The Bittersweet Work of Tending a Changing World

Join Ethan Tapper – internationally-recognized forester, digital storyteller, and bestselling author – for a weekend in the woods of Rowe in the midst of spring bird migration. This workshop is an opportunity to learn about forest ecology, natural history, and more while witnessing the arrival of dozens of species of migratory songbirds, the phenomenon that Ethan calls: “one of the great wonders of the world.” Participants will learn from Ethan on birding walks, nature walks, and lectures, share his morning writing practice with him, and more. He will share from his award-winning book: How to Love a Forest: The Bittersweet Work of Tending a Changing World, as well as from his upcoming release The Forest Year: Finding Hope in a World Worth Saving.
