The Rowe Center has a wide range of accommodations for every taste and budget, from Bed &Breakfast level private rooms with ensuite baths to camping under the stars.

Starting September 1st 2022 We have simplified our accommodation levels in order to better serve our guests.

Upgraded Accommodations

Looking to treat yourself? Do you want a little more privacy but still save money? Try one of our upgraded rooms.

Double Bed with Private Bath

Treat yourself or you and a partner to the comfort and solitude of a double room. Each room can sleep up to two guests and comes with a private bath (most located en-suite)

Double Bed with Shared Bath

A great option for those who appreciate privacy and comfort but don't mind a short trip to the bathroom. Each room can sleep up to two guests and is located very close to the bathroom.

Bedroom with Two Twin Beds

A great option for friends or individuals traveling together. Each room comes with two twin beds, and most are located very close to bathrooms.

Bedroom with One Twin Bed

A great option for guests who are interested in saving money but still appreciate privacy and comfort. Each room comes with a single twin bed with easy access to shared bath facilities.

Included Accommodations

All Program Fees Include Shared Group Housing

Your program fee now includes your choice of group housing at no additional cost. Consisting of Dorms located in the Farmhouse or 4-Season Cabins, each group option sleeps between 6 and 8 adults in bunkbeds and are conveniently located near shared bathroom facilities. All group accommodations are heated and bedding is provided.  Guests can also choose bring their own equipment and camp under the stars anywhere on our 55 forested acres.

Dorm Housing

Group dorms are a wonderful option for individuals attending together, guests on a budget or anyone who enjoys group living! Each Dorm Room can accommodate six to eight individuals in adult appropriate bunkbeds. Depending on the retreat, Rowe offers gender segregated and gender-neutral dorm options. Bathrooms are conveniently located nearby and bedding is included.

Three-Season Cabins

Our three-season cabins are cozy even when the weather turns crisp. These cabins are nestled in the woods and share much of the same charm as the 2-season cabins. Each cabin sleeps up to ten in bunk beds and is conveniently located near the shared bathhouse.

The New Guest House

Double with Private Bath

Although “New” to The Rowe Center, The New Guest House was built in 1798 by the town blacksmith. Appointed  in  antique furnishings and plush bedding, NGH offers a bed & breakfast level experience for guests that love history and comfort. Read a book in the library, cook a meal in the well appointed kitchen or have a cup of coffee on the sunporch. Each room has its own dedicated private bathroom – either ensuite or directly outside the room. 

The Farmhouse

Double Shared Bath, 2 Twins, 1 Twins, Dorm

Gifted to The Rowe Center in 1972, The Farmhouse is the center of Rowe life. The Farmhouse is home to our offices, kitchen, gathering room and dining hall which means that your commute to breakfast is about as short as it gets! Private accommodations are a little more rustic than New Guest House and the walk to the bathroom is a little longer however, the level of comfort is on par.

Orchard Guest House

Double Shared Bath, 2 Twins

Newly refreshed and decorated with taste and simplicity, The Orchard Guest House is known to generations of campers as “The Infirmary”. Containing 4 private rooms with a shared den, kitchenette, and entrance ramp, OGH is perfect for guests with mobility challenges. Drink coffee and watch deer amble across the orchard from the adjoining deck or unwind in the attached sauna.

Gracie Jordan Rec Hall

Double Shared Bath, 2 Twins

With amazing porches and breathtaking views, The Gracie Jordan Rec Hall is a building like no other. Home to The Rowe Center's primary program space, this is a great choice for guests that don't want to walk far between programs. Sleep among the treetops with the tower room's 360 degree views or enjoy the wood paneled comfort of the ADA accessible Plowshares room. The rooms are cozy and bathroom facilities are a short walk through an unheated gathering area.

Three-Season Cabins

Our three-season cabins are cozy even when the weather turns crisp. These cabins are nestled in the woods and share much of the same charm as the two-season cabins. Each cabin sleeps up to eight in bunk beds and is conveniently located near the shared bathhouse.

Two-Season Cabins

Full of rustic summer camp charm, two-season cabins come with screened windows and bunk beds. Walls are adorned with the names and musings from generations of “Rowies”. Each cabin sleeps up to eight is conveniently located near the shared bathhouse. Bedding is now included. Two-season cabins are available for select conferences as overflow housing.

Commuting

Commuting is an excellent option for guests who live nearby or simply want to try one of the area's many accommodation options. Guests can still enjoy all the wonderful homecooked meals Rowe is famous for, and will have full use of the facilities during your program.

If you are a person who has limited mobility, please let us know if you would like a ground floor room as we have accessible rooms available in The New Guest House, Farmhouse, Orchard Guest House and Rec Hall.

Are you traveling a long distance or interested in turning your time at Rowe into a mini-vacation? Rowe offers the option to Add A Day before or after your program for a special discounted rate. You'll get to stay in the same room and we'll prepare a simple dinner and continental breakfast so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your extra time with us.
