Since its inception in 1924, Rowe has been a beacon of exploration and personal development. Founded by Reverend Anita Trueman Pickett with a vision to address crucial societal issues, Rowe has evolved into a vibrant year-round haven for thousands seeking to deepen their connections to community and self. Celebrating its 100th anniversary, Rowe continues to be a place where people of all ages can explore, grow, and play in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Role: The incoming Executive Director will be pivotal in shaping the future of Rowe. This role calls for a visionary leader who combines strategic foresight with operational acumen. Responsibilities will encompass strategic leadership, program management, revenue generation, financial oversight, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in nonprofit leadership, a deep commitment to youth and human development, and a proven track record in fundraising and budget management.

Who We Are Looking For: Rowe seeks a leader who embodies our core values of inclusivity, hospitality, and integrity. Applicants should have at least five years of progressive leadership experience in relevant fields such as nonprofit management, education, or hospitality. A connection to and understanding of the nuances of nonprofit governance, youth development, and community building are crucial.

Compensation and Benefits: The position offers a salary range of $70,000-$85,000, with additional benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, and generous vacation policies. Residency on or near our 50-acre wooded campus is required, ensuring deep engagement with the community and responsiveness to the operational needs of the center.
