Harmonizing with the Ancestors: Healing the Mother Wound

with Jessica Alejandro

October 10-12, 2025

About The Program

Join Jessica Alejandro—sound healer, Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher, Crystal Dreaming teacher, and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist— on a journey to connect with our ancestors, so they may show us the way to healing and help us reverberate that healing out into the collective.

Experience an immersion into our Ancestral Healing path where we will harmonize, reattune and heal intergenerational patterns that no longer serve us.

Explore the mother wound from Personal, Cultural, Spiritual, and Planetary perspectives. Discover the wisdom of the sacral chakra.

Heal the mother wound as a way to restore an ancient imbalance that has been created by the patriarchy, and connect to our Divine Feminine energy as an important step in our journey of self-love

Without blaming our mothers, we will heal as children and become the loving witness and nurturer to our beloved inner child.

Jessica will guide us through the use of:

  • Sound healing meditations with copper bowls, gongs, drums, chimes, and more
  • The Power of Sacred Circle
  • Energetic Cord-Cutting Ritual
  • Ancestral Soul Inquiry
  • Journaling and Reflection
  • Guided Despacho Ritual
  • Medicine Bag Creation
  • Fire Ceremony and Sound Bath
  • Gentle Movement
  • Journeying to Connect with our Maternal Ancestral Line
  • TIme for personal reflection, rest, and exploration of the grounds

What you may gain during this weekend:

  • The release of negative thoughts, feelings, and labels
  • Freedom from others’ expectations of you
  • The ability to see triggers as opportunities to healing
  • The capacity to see the value in BEING instead of DOING
  • The experience of your vulnerability when seen as a superpower
  • Expanded trust in your intuition as you learn to be more connected to your mind, body, spirit and your higher self
  • Deeper connection to the Earth and all of its magic!

Jessica provided a safe and inspiring space where many connections were easily made. I have been to Rowe three times for weekend retreats, and each time I have been filled with a feeling of connection to the people in my group, the land and the wonderful staff. Jessica Alejandro

Jessica Alejandro is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist, Shamanic Reiki master Teacher, Sound Healer, Crystal Dreaming Practitioner and teacher, and Retreat Leader.

Jessica has over 20 years of experience working in the social services field. She has a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Temple University in Philadelphia and a Masters in Marriage and Family therapy from Central Connecticut State University. She has worked as a trained and experienced forensic interviewer, crisis clinician and couple and family therapist. She started her career as a Social Worker at the Department of Children and Families and then moved on to work at the Greater Hartford Children’s Advocacy Center at St. Francis Hospital. Gaining even more experience in the field she also worked at Wellmore Behavioral Health Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services as a crisis clinician. Her last traditional 9-5 job was in the corporate world at Beacon Health Options monitoring and approving mental health services for the Medicaid population in CT. Jessica started working in private practice, part-time, 12 years ago at Center for Relationship Healing in Norwich and Dr. Tracey and Associates in Glastonbury. In 2016 she started her own independent private practice in Middlefield, CT.
She specializes in combining psychotherapy and energy work to help accelerate healing for her clients. She focuses on working with individuals experiencing grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety and life transitions, as well as couples looking for a deeper connection with each other & pre-marital couples.
Always being a spiritual and intuitive person, she fully stepped out of the spiritual closet about 10 years ago. Ever since then her life’s work and purpose became crystal clear. She always knew she wanted to help people, that’s why she became a therapist. She did not realize that she would also become a way-shower and conduit for others to connect to their higher selves, discover their inner light, truly love themselves and share love with the world. Helping others see the true answer to healing, LOVE, is her mission and passion.
