We have some significant news to share with our beloved Rowe community. The past year has been tough, but we have weathered through as a community. The generous financial support given during the Spirit of Rowe campaign and all the love and support from our members and friends have helped bring camp back this year under the leadership of our Interim Executive Director (and 70s camper!) Clay Connor.
We know the importance of having someone at our treasured camp and conference center who is ready to take us into the next century. Holly Thompson, President of the Board of Trustees, has announced this week the commencement of a national search for Rowe UU Camp and Conference Center’s next Executive Director. This is the next step to bringing Rowe back to full capacity as we celebrate our centennial year and look forward to an exciting future.
Our new Executive Director will play a pivotal role in continuing Rowe’s mission of building community and transforming lives. They will guide our dedicated staff, help shape a bold strategic plan, and ensure Rowe remains a place of joy, respect, love, and a little bit of weirdness.
We invite you to read Holly’s full letter here to learn more about this important search and how you can get involved.
