Aging as a Creative Process with Niela Miller
How many songs, stories, drawings, dance movements lie buried in you just waiting to be released? Your long life is full of untapped riches of expression that are part of your vast creative potential. Maybe some are awake and others are dormant. In this online workshop, we will share what aging is like for us and then use drawing materials to express our personal experience with spontaneous, abstract shapes, colors and textures followed by sharing. The concept of Symbolic Modeling, an approach developed by Niela, will be introduced through this process.
If there is interest in exploring other forms of expression in relating to our aging process, we can meet again in the future.
Please bring drawing paper and mark makers to your computer station.
