The Rowe Center is more than a camp or conference center, it is a place where souls come to connect, where families come to celebrate and thought leaders come to increase awareness and heighten senses.
Our retreat center is nestled in the East Berkshires in the town of Rowe, Massachusetts, a close knit community founded in 1785. Traditions that have been built over the years have created a vibrant culture, and an openness to new ideas has kept the town of Rowe growing and evolving.
The History of The Rowe Center
Rowe’s summer camps have inspired and delighted kids since 1924. We offer three camps for ages 8-18. Many of our campers are legacy campers, sharing the same Rowe experience enjoyed by their parents and grandparents.
Rowe’s weekend workshops have provided a place to learn and grow in a small, intimate forum since 1974. Alumni campers frequently return for our adult camps, as they relax, renew relationships and reminisce over their shared camp experiences.
The authentic relationships we develop with our teachers and thought leaders keeps The Rowe Center a recurring destination for their events. This is a place to unwind, and become immersed in nature and community. From intimate meetings to large conferences our guests enjoy the beautiful surroundings, the from-scratch cooking as well as comfortable accommodations.
