Personal Retreats, Group Rentals, and Weddings
Rowe’s classic New England setting offers the ideal location for private or group getaways, or for wedding celebrations!
The Rowe Center’s serene rural setting in the mountains of western Massachusetts, just six miles from the Vermont border, offers a perfect environment for a personal retreat. Enjoy the quiet and solitude during hours of tranquil, soul-nourishing rejuvenation — or explore our miles of hiking trails on Mount Adams, go kayaking on Pelham Lake or tubing on the magnificent Deerfield River, or biking on back roads through forests and wild meadows. You might see a bald eagle or a red fox. Need some civilization along with your wilderness? Go shopping and cafe-hopping in scenic villages of the Berkshires or southern Vermont, browse farmers markets or used bookstores or antique shops, or take time out for the world-class art museums of the nearby Clark Art Institute or Mass MoCA, or for theater or a concert at one of the Five Colleges in the Pioneer Valley — all within an easy, pleasant drive of our beautiful woodlands.
You also can bring your family and friends for a group retreat — our 18th century Guest House combines colonial charm with the most modern amenities. Do you need the perfect space for a weekend conference or professional retreat? With advance notice we can book one of our spacious, comfortable halls for your use.
People love The Rowe Center for weddings, too. Whether you choose our century-old stone chapel across the street from the village gazebo and mill pond, or our farmhouse and gardens, we can host and cater your special day — a delightful way to start your new lives together. Learn more here.
