Coming May 27- June 10, 2018 Earth Activist Training will teach permaculture-based practical Earth-healing with just a touch of magic.
Through ritual and nature awareness, lots of hands-on practice, and plenty of time to laugh, your two weeks at EAT will also teach you to integrate mind and heart. This program includes the basic internationally recognized 72 hour curriculum required for a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC), with additional focus on social permaculture, organizing tools and spirit.
STARHAWK is an author, activist, permaculture designer, and one of the foremost voices in Earth-based spirituality. Her 12 books include The Spiral Dance, The Fifth Sacred Thing, and The Earth Path, and her first picture book for children: The Last Wild Witch. She has lived and worked collectively for 30 years, and her book on group dynamics, The Empowerment Manual: A Guide for Collaborative Groups, is now out from New Society. She directs and teaches Earth Activist Trainings.
CHARLES WILLIAMS is a certified permaculture designer who integrates spiritual practices with land management and building healthy communities. Over the past two decades, he has stewarded many pieces of land throughout the United States–including Diana’s Grove in Missouri, Farm & Wilderness Summer Camp in Vermont, and Golden Rabbit Ranch in California. He has worked with many groups, from mass mobilization meetings with over 10 people to a handful of people working for progressive organizations.

This two-week Earth Activist Training (EAT) program can set your life on a new path, help you transform your neighborhood, and show you how to save the planet.
Green solutions may be sprouting up all around us, but permaculture is the key to weaving these disparate strands into unified systems. Earth Activist Training teaches permaculture-based, practical Earth-healing with just a touch of magic. Through ritual and nature awareness, lots of hands-on practice, and plenty of time to laugh, your two weeks at EAT will also teach you to integrate mind and heart. All permaculture seeks to meet human needs as it regenerates the land. The additional EAT goals are simple, profound, and eminently achievable: Bring on the vegetables! Bring sustainable ecological design to communities where the need is greatest and resources are few. Involve social change activists and visionaries, and especially neighborhood residents. Through cross-pollination of political, environmental, and spiritual movements, double the resources for all seekers of peace, justice, and social resilience. Given the means to care for themselves, communities flower like gardens. Join Starhawk and Charles for two weeks that will change your life and transform the lives of those around you.
