During her third visit to Rowe, Mercedes will reveal deeper insights into the intriguing workings of the Earthly andCosmic cycles and their effects on humanity and all life on Earth. According to the Maya prophecies, we are living the beginning of a cycle of light and harmony. Elders from two different Maya nations are being guided to share the next level of how tapping into a subtle understanding of the cycles of time – such as the cycle of the moon, the human cycle/Cholqij, and the cycles that end in 2012 – can bring harmony and well-being into our lives and our interactions with others.
As part of the many teachings the Elders will give regarding these cycles, we will each receive a Cholqij Calendar and learn about our Maya birthday, element, and power animal. We will gain insight into our current life cycle, and discover how to use these teachings for our personal evolution. Those who are new to the Maya Cosmovision have the rare opportunity to join the Elders for this unique, extra-long weekend, a time of both rich and comprehensive teachings. Those who have been with Mercedes before will be able to expand both their understanding and their spiritual practice.
In addition, we will experience the profoundly transformative nature of the Maya fire ceremony, which has been done by elders, priests, and priestesses from the different Maya nations without alteration for at least 12,500 years. Yet each ceremony is unique, as no two weavings are exactly alike. During the ceremony, the Elders will include a cleansing (healing) for each participant, to help us actively engage with our current life missions. The Maya Elders carefully tend the fire and orchestrate each aspect of the ceremony, attuning to every subtle communication from the Creator.
The Elders greet you with great respect and gratitude and welcome you to join in the unifying consciousness of the One Heart. They bring the ancient, urgent message that the healing of humanity is not separate from the healing of our Mother Earth.
